We welcome your family and friends to visit while you’re here. We generally ask that no more than two people visit you at a time, and all visitors should check-in at the nurses’ station before entering your room. Masking Policy Update

As of January 2, 2024, we have reached a high level of respiratory virus activity. You will see the following changes at Mass General Brigham:

  • Your care team and other staff will wear a facility-issued face mask during direct interactions with patients in patient rooms and other clinical care areas where direct care is provided.
  • Patients and visitors will be strongly encouraged to wear a facility-issued face mask during direct interactions with staff in patient rooms and clinical care areas where direct care is provided.
  • Patients and visitors do not have to mask if they prefer not to, and masking is not required in lobbies and common areas.

Parking and Public Transportation

There is a daily fee for parking in the hospital garage. We also offer discounted multiple-day parking passes for patients and visitors. You can buy passes at the gift shop and parking cashier's desks, located in the West Lobby and in the lobby near the white and blue buildings. Our hospital is also easily accessible via public transportation, such as the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and MetroWest Regional Transit Authority. Moreover, several taxi companies service the Newton area. Learn more about your public transportation options.

Directions

We are located at 2014 Washington Street, Newton, Massachusetts, near the intersection of routes 16 and 128 (Interstate 95), one mile south of the Mass Pike (Interstate 90). Get directions to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, as well as our other locations.

Personal Belongings

Your health and safety are our primary concern. The hospital is not responsible for your valuables and belongings. We do our very best to take care of you and we care about your personal items, however all personal belongings are the responsibility of the patient and/or family. Please leave all valuables and belongings at home. If you arrive with a family member or friend, please have them take all personal items home. Please make staff aware of any valuables in your possession as we recommend they are sent home or sent to the cashier’s office during your stay. Any items that you choose to keep with you, if lost, should be reported to staff immediately. We will do our best to find them, but we are not responsible for their loss.
