Support groups are designed so attendees can gain support through discussing their experience and connecting with others. Our groups help patients, who come to us from throughout the Greater Boston area, to cope with their diagnosis and make meaning of this illness in their lives.
An expressive writing support group for Mass General Cancer Center patients and survivors.
This virtual group will combine the therapeutic benefits of expressive writing within a support group setting. Cancer patients and survivors will be given the opportunity to connect with others and practice different expressive writing techniques to help enhance cognitive processing, reduce stress, and make meaning of your story.
