  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
  • Brain injuries from stroke, trauma, or tumors.
  • Disorders that can cause dizziness and balance issues, such as acoustic neuroma and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Learn more about BPPV (PDF).
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS).
  • Parkinson’s disease.
  • Polyneuropathy and peripheral neuropathy, disorders that affect nerves outside the brain and spinal cord.

Your Evaluation and Rehabilitation

During your initial evaluation, we will interview you to learn about your goals for rehabilitation. We may also speak to your family members if needed. Using the information we gather during your evaluation, we’ll create a personalized rehabilitation plan for you. Your rehabilitation plan will focus on improving your balance, movement, and function.

Our physical therapists use the latest evidence on exercise and neurorehabilitation to get the best outcome possible for you. Our rehabilitation facility includes many technological advances, such as:

  • Body-weight-supported treadmill training
  • Frenzel lenses, specialized goggles to help us diagnose and treat BPPV
  • Functional electrical stimulation during walking
