The Newton-Wellesley Hospital Rehabilitation Department is committed to advancing research in a variety of related fields such as pediatric, adolescent and adult physical and occupational therapy, sports medicine, speech pathology and pain management.
Our research program has three primary goals:
The Rehabilitation Department Research Committee brings our team together to collect research questions, to guide the research process and to assist with paper writing, grant requests and presentations.
The Committee meets on a monthly basis and reviews the status of current projects, initiates future projects and serves as a resource for researchers' questions and findings. Staff meet monthly for Journal Rounds to discuss current literature and its impact on patient care.
