EAP counselors are knowledgeable and helpful in supporting employees and their families during times of loss. You can contact your company’s Human Resources Department to see if you have an EAP benefit available to you.

Heart Play

The Heart play workshops in Wayland, MA gather children ages 3 to 12 after a death. Through conversation, visual expression, music, writing and storytelling, children share their feelings and experiences. Adolescents in grades 7 through 12 are welcome to assist as mentors at all workshops. Grieving teens have found meaning by helping the younger participants. Adults may attend an informal discussion, facilitated by Wayside Hospice staff, during Heart play workshops. www.parmenter.org
