Our team offers education classes for patients considering surgery. The classes provide an overview of the experience — from preoperative planning to the patient’s return home. Patients and a family member or friend are strongly encouraged to attend. The classes provide more information and the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the instructors about concerns.
Your team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital will provide support throughout your entire joint surgery experience, from your first visit to the Kaplan Joint Center to 12 weeks post-surgery and beyond. We are committed to working with you to recalibrate your goals as you move steadily along the road to recovery. We have prepared patient journey guides as a road map to help patients understand important milestones and more.
