Our dietitians work with diabetes nurse educators to provide you with a comprehensive, personalized plan to help manage your diabetes. We help patients with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes , Pre-diabetes or Gestational diabetes. Along with diabetes management and outpatient nutritional services, we offer diabetes management classes and our diabetes support group.
We provide adult nutrition counseling on an outpatient basis for patients with the following concerns and conditions:
Many health insurance plans cover nutrition visits related to treatment for medical conditions. We highly encourage you to call your insurance carrier directly before your appointment to make sure your visit is covered. Learn more about insurance and Medicare coverage.
Please plan on arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you can’t keep your appointment, we would appreciate it if you would cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Our clinic is located on the third floor of the main Hospital building on 3 South. Follow the signs to the south elevators, and take them to the third floor. Follow the signs for Diabetes/Nutrition. The clinic is in the corridor to the left of the south elevators.
