Through our partnership with Mass General for Children, we provide the highest level of emergency medical care for your child at the Vinik Family Pediatric Emergency Room. Located in the Maxwell Blum Emergency Pavilion, our dedicated eight-bed pediatric emergency room includes all the specialized equipment needed to care for children who need emergency treatment.
Our rooms are private and separated from the general emergency areas, and pediatric emergency medicine specialists care for our patients. About 95 percent of all pediatric emergency patients receive care in the pediatric emergency room. During periods of high patient volume, we may also care for some younger adults as needed.
