Phlebotomy is the act of drawing or removing blood from the circulatory system through an incision or puncture in order to obtain a sample for analysis and diagnosis. Phlebotomy is also done as part of a patient's treatment for certain blood disorders.

Our pediatric drawing room is designed to help children feel more comfortable with child-friendly colors, themes and toys. Our staff members are trained in the best ways to draw a child and have attended various seminars. If your child has special needs, please contact our Customer Service Department at 617-243-6300. They will schedule your appointment at a time that works best for you and your child.
