Decision Support and Business Planning Fellowship

The Decision Support & Business Planning Fellow will work with a cross section of leaders within the hospital, physicians and in particular Finance, Marketing and Patient Care Services.  They will participate and lead various clinical program analyses related to strategic initiatives, learning key project management skills. This will include financial modeling and business planning, process mapping, clinical program set-up, market data review, and capacity analytics.

The Fellow will have exposure to the Partners HealthCare Business Planning Dept. and the opportunity to learn about strategic planning and project implementation from the individual NWH entity perspective as well as the whole Partners HealthCare System in our fast paced environment. Additionally, the Fellow may assist with development of physician contracts, space planning assessments, and valuation analyses for quality metrics.

It is expected that the Fellow will be working at an experienced level with Microsoft Excel, and have capability to learn Microsoft Access, and that they exhibit skills amenable to working on a team, while having initiative to work independently.  The Fellow will gain exposure to various clinical operations via projects, and will learn the relationship between the hospital, the physicians, and the overall Partners HealthCare System.

The Fellow position reports to the Director of Decision Support & Business Planning Cortlandt Montross and falls under the Sr. VP of Finance (CFO).
