The division is a resource for people with diabetes mellitus seeking modern, effective, multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art diabetes care. We offer a comprehensive program in the management of hormonal disorders and diabetes, including treatment of thyroid disorders and thyroid tumors, pituitary tumors and disorders, adrenal diseases, calcium disorders, osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases, fertility problems and menopause, and lipid abnormalities.

The Diabetes Management Program

Newton-Wellesley endocrinologists participate in Resident Report and Housestaff Noon Conferences on a regular monthly basis, teaching Newton-Wellesley and MGH residents, endocrine fellows, and Tufts University School of Medicine medical students. In addition, faculty serve as monthly teaching attendings on the inpatient medicine teaching service.
