 Medicine is Newton-Wellesley Hospital's largest department, encompassing physicians in many areas of primary and subspecialty care. Serving Greater Boston and communities throughout Massachusetts, our Medical & Surgical Departments includes over 200 physicians representing diverse specialties.

Obstetrics and Gynecology - Exemplary obstetrical and gynecologic care including maternity services, childbirth education, reproductive medicine, maternal fetal medicine and urogynecology.

| Orthopaedic Surgery Service – Disorders of the musculoskeletal system are treated by highly skilled, compassionate orthopedists and orthopedic surgeons using state-of-the-art technology. Joint surgeries such as hip surgery and knee surgery are handled at our Kaplan Center for Joint Reconstruction. |

| Pediatrics - A coordinated team of pediatric physicians, registered nurses, child psychologists, child-life specialists and support staff. |

| Psychiatry - Emergency evaluations, inpatient psychiatric care and consultation to the general hospital 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. Includes child and adolescent psychiatry. |
