The Vernon Cancer Center provides personalized cancer care in a private and comfortable setting.
Through an anonymous donation, the Center recognizes and honors Joan and James Vernon of Weston, Massachusetts. Joan, a nurse and caregiver to many friends and community members, passed away in 2005 from cancer. Her husband, James Vernon, MD, Surgeon at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for nearly four decades, helped design and guide the Center.
