Spiritual Care
Chaplains at Newton-Wellesley Hospital offer caring, non-judgmental, supportive counsel to all who find it helpful to explore what faith means in their immediate situation. They also invite people to use the resources of their religious tradition for support and connect them with spiritual care resources in the wider community.
Providing emotional and spiritual support at a time of loss including:
- Naming service
- Pastoral counseling
- Prayer support
- Short-term grief counseling
- Connection to local clergy
Three chaplains, Catholic, Jewish and Protestant, are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Clergy from most other faith traditions can be contacted upon request.
