Employee Assistance Programs
Many employers offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a confidential workplace based counseling and referral service, as a free benefit to employees. EAP counselors are knowledgeable and helpful in supporting employees and their families during times of loss. You can contact your company’s Human Resources Department to see if you have an EAP benefit available to you.
