The Office of Research provides administrative support for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital IRB, The Human Research and Investigation Committee (HRIC), which is responsible for the protection of human subjects participating in research conducted by investigators at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

The Office of Research also provides many resources to investigators interested in conducting clinical research at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, including full start-up services, study coordination and study management.
