NEWTON, Mass. (October 11, 2019) – Newton-Wellesley Hospital today announced that Henry (Rick) A. D’Angelo, MD, Chair of Family Medicine, Chair of the Epic Ambulatory Board and Medical Director of Newton-Wellesley Family Medicine in Walpole, has received the Partners HealthCare Primary Care Award for Teaching and Mentoring at the Primary Care Leadership Summit on September 20, 2019. The prestigious award recognizes Dr. D’Angelo’s commitment to mentoring the next generation of primary care physicians.
“I am honored to receive this award, which reflects my passion for helping others – not only my patients but my peers and colleagues,” said Dr. D’Angelo. “I’m proud to serve as a role model for implementing positive changes across primary care.”

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. D’Angelo is consistently available for those in need of guidance as they navigate the ins and outs of clinical practice.
