Pediatric (Infant/Child) First Aid

This course is designed to teach childcare providers and others to respond to illness and injuries. Topics covered are wounds, nosebleeds, fractures,poisons,drownings,insect bites, bandages, dressings, use of an epinephrine pen, shock, stroke, head injury and foreign body airway obstruction (choking). Reviews skills in CPR and the Hemlich maneuver. Participants receive certificates by mail. For more information or to register by phone, please call the Wellness Center at 617-243-6221.
