Silent Auction Bidding with BidPal®
This year’s Gala guests will use BidPal, an interactive, wireless bidding device to place bids in our Silent Auction. A BidPal device (or a text message with a BidPal link for your own SmartPhone) will be provided at registration – preloaded with all the silent auction items and details as well as your Bid Number and Table Number.
Please note: You will be asked to provide a credit card at registration - this will greatly facilitate checkout - but you may also choose to pay at the end of the evening by check or credit card.
With BidPal, you can bid anytime, from anywhere at the event. There will be no paper bid sheets for easier access to items – no more crowding or missing out on an item because you couldn’t get back to the bid sheet in time!  Just look for BidPal Tutors with a green lanyard to assist you with your bidding.
Your BidPal device is easy-to-use and will enable you to browse all silent auction items by categories, by name, or by item number. And the device will display each item description, photo, value, bid increments, and donor information. You can bid on items, watch items, and be instantaneously alerted when you have been outbid.
At the end of the Silent Auction, which will close at 8:30 pm, you'll know exactly what you have won. Checkout will be paperless via credit card or you may pay by check. Your BidPal device will be collected after the Silent Auction is closed or as you leave the ballroom at the end of the evening.

For the Judith Ripka Bar and Live Auction and Fund-a-Need portions of the evening, you will use your Program Book with your big bid number to place bids/make a gift. Those items will be added to you BidPal invoice so that your credit card will be charged once for all the items you have purchased - this will make checkout fast and easy!
BidPal is a registered trademark of BidPal Mobile Auctions.
