Footprints to the Future

The birth of a child is a profound experience. At Newton-Wellesley Hospital we deliver individualized compassionate care – birth-by-birth, family-by-family. The hospital offers a unique way to celebrate your happy occasion in a truly memorable – and permanent way.

"Footprints to the Future" is located in the newly renovated Maternity Department on the 5th floor. Adorning the walls of this area are individual footprint markers listing each baby’s name and date of birth. What a wonderful way to commemorate a child’s birth!

Two sizes are available:

• Gift of $500 for a 6" footprint
• Gift of $100 for a 4" footprint

Twins and triplets can be honored on the same marker (6" marker recommended). A new sibling would be on a separate marker, and we will make every effort to place that marker near/next to other family members.

All gifts support the recent $8 million renovation and expansion of our Maternity Department, as well as ongoing projects and programs. We are grateful to all those who support our work.

In order to properly process your Footprint request, we ask that you please select "Footprints to the Future" under Gift Designation.

Then in the "My/Our Gift is:" section, please select one of the tribute choices and include the full name of the baby. Also include the birthdate of the baby in the "Additional information about this tribute gift" box.

If you have twins or triplets to honor, please type in additional names in that same box. You can also provide contact information of anyone whom you want to inform about this gift.
