Readers Choice Award 2008 Goes to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

NEWTON-WELLESLEY RECEIVES REGIONAL FAVORITE AWARD

NEWTON, Mass. (June, 2008)  – Newton-Wellesley Hospital was voted #1 Gold Hospital - Regional favorite in the 2008 Readers Choice Awards - a survey conducted by the Community Newspaper Company.

Newspapers in the region include The Daily News Tribune, Dover-Sherborn Press, Needham Times, Newton TAB, Roslindale Transcript, Watertown TAB & Press, The Wellesley Townsman and West Roxbury Transcript.

During January and February, these newspapers asked readers to vote for their "#1 Choice" in a variety of categories.

All ballots were sent directly to an independent consultant where more than 370,000 votes were tallied.
