SIXTY THREE PHYSICIANS FROM NEWTON-WELLESLEY HOSPITAL MAKE BEST DOCTORS IN AMERICA LIST

NEWTON, Mass. (November, 2007) –  Sixty-three physicians affiliated with Newton-Wellesley Hospital appear on the Best Doctors in America® list for 2007-08. The complete list is available by logging onto www.bostonmagazine.com/topdocs2007.

This widely respected list, created by Best Doctors, Inc., results from exhaustive polling of over 40,000 physicians in the United States. Doctors in over 400 subspecialties of medicine appear on this year’s list.  In a confidential review, former Best Doctors answer the question, “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer?”

Best Doctors, Inc. evaluates the review results, and verifies additional information to meet inclusion criteria. The experts that are part of the Best Doctors in America® database provide the most advanced medical knowledge to patients with serious conditions. Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s group of experts listed in the database includes world-class specialists in orthopaedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, gastroenterology, urology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, among other disciplines.
