Serving communities throughout Greater Boston, The Service of Neurosurgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital provides high-quality neurosurgical care for nearly all forms of neurosurgical diseases, including intracranial, spinal, peripheral nerve, and sympathetic nervous system diseases. Intractable pain is also treated. 

The active staff of the service includes three active neurosurgeons, two of whom collaborate in a rotating consultation call schedule for emergencies and inpatient care.

Active affiliation and admitting privileges at Boston’s tertiary centers enable smooth transfers when appropriate.
