Chattanooga Research Award
The Department of Rehabilitation Services has received the American Physical Therapy Association’s Chattanooga Research Award. The award recognizes the most significant research paper contributing to the science and practice of physical therapy published in 2010.
This is the second time the Rehab Services has won this award in the past three years.
The publication was titled, “Examination of a Clinical Prediction Rule to Identify Patients With Neck Pain Likely to Benefit From Thoracic Spine Thrust Manipulation and a General Cervical Range of Motion Exercise: Multi-Center Randomized Clinical Trial.” Read Publication (pdf)
