Inpatient

As an inpatient, your physician may request a physical therapy consult for you. You will be evaluated by one of our physical therapists to determine the type and amount of intervention you may need.

Your care begins with an in-depth assessment of your condition. We will evaluate your level of functioning and customize a treatment program for you.

We will provide you with therapeutic exercise during your inpatient stay and give you recommendations for exercise after you leave the hospital. We will educate you on how to care for yourself, function safely in day-to-day tasks and use appropriate devices and equipment.

Our goals for your therapy include maximizing your ability to be independent and preventing any additional mobility problems.
