Occupational Therapy
 The Occupational Therapy Service at Newton-Wellesley Hospital includes both Outpatient and Inpatient Occupational Therapy Services. Our qualified therapists specialize in the evaluation and treatment of adult, geriatric, and pediatric rehabilitation needs. The focus of occupational therapy is to help individuals regain or develop skills needed for independence when functional impairments interfere with their ability to engage in valued activities of daily living in the home and community.
Outpatient Occupational Therapy Service
If you are having difficulties when managing everyday activities after an injury or illness, your physician may recommend occupational therapy. Our occupational therapists provide the following services on an outpatient basis:
Inpatient Occupational Therapy Service
During your inpatient stay, your physician may request an occupational therapy consult for you. Our occupational therapists are skilled at providing the following services on an inpatient basis:
