The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Newton-Wellesley Hospital has been treating children and adolescents with a broad range of emotional and behavioral difficulties for more than a decade. Our dedicated team of mental health specialists provides thorough evaluations and considers the many aspects of a child’s life that may be contributing to a problem.

Last year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents were treated for a mental health issue at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. In addition to treatment in our outpatient clinic, Newton-Wellesley offers specialized consultation to children in crisis in the Vinik Family Pediatric Emergency Room and in the Pediatric Inpatient Care Unit.
