Primary care physicians work within many practice configurations--from solo practitioners to partnerships and group practices--all with a commitment to provide high-quality primary care to the patients in our communities. Nearly all of Newton-Wellesley's primary care physicians have teaching appointments at the medical schools in Boston and are dedicated to the education of medical students, as well as to the residents of the graduate medical teaching programs at Newton-Wellesley.
Through the NWPHO (Newton-Wellesley Physician Hospital Organization), more than 500 members of the Medical Staff at Newton-Wellesley interface with the Partners HealthCare System, Inc. via Partners Community Health Inc. (PCHI). This relationship maximizes communications and information among the physician members of Partners and results in uniformly outstanding patient care throughout the network.
