Ambulatory Care Centers - Natick and Walpole

Newton-Wellesley Hospital offers access to high-quality care at our two off-site Ambulatory Care Centers. The Centers offer radiology and laboratory services as well as access to primary care physicians. The Natick location also offers appointments with cardiologists and obstetricians and Walpole provides appointments with obstetricians – all specialists from Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Both Centers offer patients digital screening mammography with computer-aided detection – the most advanced tool available to detect and diagnose breast diseases. Digital mammography uses low-dose X-rays and sophisticated technology to create images of the breast. This technology allows radiologists to detect subtle changes with the best possible resolution.

Our expert radiologists use the computer-aided detection to help identify findings to study more closely and to analyze and evaluate a patient’s digital mammogram results. The Natick Center also offers bone densitometry.

The Centers provide a convenient location for patients to have their lab work done. These Patient Service Centers are staffed by Newton-Wellesley’s specially trained lab staff. Our off-site labs offer patients the advantage of a community-based hospital lab as well as the wide variety of services, state-of-the-art technology and efficiency expected from a commercial laboratory.
