The Gastrointestinal Surgery team provides surgical interventions for patients living with a wide range of intestinal diseases and illnesses. Some conditions we treat include:

  • Anorectal and rectal conditions, including abscesses, anal fissures, anal fistulas, anal sphincter dysfunction, rectal prolapse and rectal-vaginal fistulas
  • Colorectal cancers
  • Diverticular disease, including diverticulitis
  • Familial adenomatous polyposis
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Hernias
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis)
  • Intestinal volvulus
