The Gastrointestinal Surgery team provides surgical interventions for patients living with a wide range of intestinal diseases and illnesses. Some conditions we treat include:
- Anorectal and rectal conditions, including abscesses, anal fissures, anal fistulas, anal sphincter dysfunction, rectal prolapse and rectal-vaginal fistulas
- Colorectal cancers
- Diverticular disease, including diverticulitis
- Familial adenomatous polyposis
- Inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis)
- Intestinal volvulus
