Our MRI technical staff are committed to helping patients have a comfortable experience during their MRI exam. Newton-Wellesley MRI technologists are nationally certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and are licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The diagnostic radiologists are physicians with extensive experience and expertise in the interpretation of MRI images. All of our radiologists are board certified and many have subspecialty certification and expertise in specific fields of radiology. This qualified team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to interpret MRI scan results.
Jeffrey J.Greenberg, MD Associate Chair of Radiology, Medical Director of MRI Services
Dr.Greenberg is board certified in radiology and neuroradiology. He graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been the Section Chief of Neuroradiology and MRI at Newton-Wellesley for more than 16 years – since the inception of MRI services at the Hospital.
Daniel Z. Silverstone, MD Associate Medical Director of MRI Services
Dr. Silverstone is board certified in radiology and neuroradiology. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Silverstone completed his fellowship in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. His special interests include neuro-ENT, musculoskeletal sports medicine and abdominal MRI.
