Bariatric Surgeons
Sheila Partridge, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Partridge is a general surgeon at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She has expertise in bariatric, laparoscopic, gastrointestinal and breast surgery. She is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College and completed her residency in general surgery at the Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.
Pablo Gazmuri, MD, Associate Medical Director
Dr. Gazmuri graduated from the University of Chile Medical School and attended the Harvard Medical School residency program in general surgery at the New England Deaconess Hospital. In his 35 years as a surgeon, he has devoted much of his time to gastrointestinal surgery, breast and colon cancer surgery, vascular surgery and weight loss surgery.
Rajan Chahal, MD, General and Bariatric Surgeon
Dr. Chahal received his medical degree from Albany Medical College 2003. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, where he was also appointed chief resident. In 2009, Dr. Chahal completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgery at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven CT. In addition to English, Dr. Chahal is also fluent in Punjabi.
Nurses
Nancy Malone, RN
Nancy has been a practicing RN for more than three decades and has worked with Dr. Gazmuri since 1995. She works directly with our CWLS patients throughout their various stages of treatment.
Renee Waite, RN, Ambulatory Services Coordinator
Renee is an RN for the practice and has been with the CWLS since February 2001. She is involved in every aspect of the program.
Clinical Dietitians
Susan Miller, RD, LD
Sue works with patients to improve their nutrition skills and post-operative health. She has been a clinical dietitian at the Center since 1995.
Linda S. Nikolakopoulos, MS, RD, LD
Linda has interned and worked at Newton-Wellesley Hospital as an inpatient dietitian and has been with the CWLS since 2000.
